Fabless Semiconductor Company

Existing customer learned that IT had selected and was implementing a Global Trade Management (GTM) solution one week before user acceptance testing. The customer wanted us to define the business requirements needed for a successful GTM solution, while ensuring the implementation ran smoothly and did not impact customer operations. Developed and executed a project plan which met the “go-live” date and ultimately satisfied the long-term business requirements.

Classified customer’s hardware, software and technology, including encryption technology. Developed Export Management and Compliance Program (EMCP), policies and procedures. Developed Automated Export System (AES) and Electronic Export Information (EEI) procedures. Conducted restricted party screening and resolution. Audited import activity, identified material and non-material issues, developed Broker Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and implemented a Post Entry Amendment (PEA) process.

Acted as Global Import and Export Compliance Officer. Established trade compliance strategy and program roadmap.
